"Eastwick" 1.01 Pilot Review

Aaaaahhhhh!!! I have been waiting sooo long for this show to start that I even stayed up until 5am to watch this remarkable show. Rewatching promos and previews of the show, I was absolutely gagging to watch the Pilot, and now I finally watched it and I LOVED it!
.
Even though the show has been getting generally mixed reviews from several critics, from the very first minute I was drawn into the show and fell under the spell of the main women. I love how the Pilot episode just never stopped, it kept going and going and there wasn't one dull moment in it.
.
Roxie was introduced first, so I will begin with my opinions on her. I really love Roxie, she is fiesty, a mother I'm sure loads of kids would love to have her as their mother, fun, hip and sexy. I especially find her 'romance' with Darryl quite funny, as she herself doesn't know what she wants. She is quite stubborn, a little like me, and just a pleasure to watch. She was compared to by Susan Mayer a lot by critics, but Susan is my favourite character in Desperate Housewives, and I would say Roxie is very different.
.
I am torn between my favourite either being Roxie or Joanna. Joanna is the nerdy but loveable woman who works at the local newspaper and has a thing for Will, but has great difficulty telling him her real feelings, or even telling him anything that makes sense because she really gets nervous around him and ends up saying something very inappropriate, which is hilarious to watch.
.
Last up is Kat, a mother of five, I think it was five anyways, who is married to a complete and utter jerk. Honestly, I think Maggie Friedman was trying to get us to hate Raymond with all our hearts and make us feel compassion for Kat, and to tell you the truth it kind of worked. While Kat is the more serious one, she is just trying to burst out her bubble and have fun, but is constantly squashed by her horrible husband. I do hope she gets that divorce.
.
And now Darryl. He is quite a charmer for the ladies, and since this show is only partly based on the film, but more so the books too, I will not compare Paul Gross to Jack Nicholson. While Jack did an amazing job as Darryl in the film, I was very pleased to see Paul do just as good in the television adaption. He had all the spunk that the original Darryl had and I am sure he will continue to be this way throughout.
.
This show is like Charmed meets Desperate Housewives, and I simply adored the Pilot episode, it had all the elements of a successful television comedy that was just simply funny and serious at the same time. I am excited to watch more episodes because I am beginning to think this show may become my all-time favourite! Let's just hope the ratings held up, it deserves a large rating!

"Cougar Town" 1.01 Pilot Review

Well I enjoyed it. I love Courtney Cox, so I kept my mind open when watching the Pilot, and let me tell you something, it sure was random. And I really like random, and comedies, so random comedy put together.
.
I wouldn't say this is better than Friends, I wouldn't go that far, but the show does have a lot of promise and I need to watch a few more episodes before I get an opinion on this show. There were moments that were funny, and moments that were trying too hard to be funny, and you may have seen the idea of that joke somewhere else before. But all in all, not bad for a new comedy.
.
The characters seem very likeable, yet I doubt we will get depth from them any time soon. The random storyline that I liked the most was the billboard sign that Jules had made for her realty selling, though her friend, Laurie, put quite a 'revealing' picture of her on it, insisting it was better than the one Jules originally picked out. I do hope more episodes have a bit more laughing moments in them before I fully call it a comedy.
.
Laurie seems to be the stereotypical dumb one, yet I seem to like her. Jules is probably likeable from the get-go so that's a bonus for sure. I am excited to see more of this, but as I said, I need to watch more episodes to fully grasp what I think of this series.

"Melrose Place" 1.03 Review

Only 1.50 million people tuned in for a really great episode? Come on! It deserved a lot more than that, definetly, the episode was filled with everything.
.
Starting with Riley and Jonah, they are a great couple, but can't seem to go through one whole episode without an argument arising. Ella is wonderful, really dominant yet she shows she has a vulnerable side, so I really love her character, I am still torn with who my favourite character is - Riley or Ella, hmm!
.
This episode had everyone feeling a lot more relaxed now, I think the show is finally getting settled and really boiling out the good stuff. It was good to see Jonah doing that music video, bless him when he is told he won't get credited for it, I hope Ella slaps her boss one, and soon. Violet is becoming more likeable, though still a little strange, I can tell she is attracted to Auggie, and him refusing to take the sunglasses can't be good.
.
The ending was very creepy- why does David's father have a file called Ella and another one called Auggie on his computer for? That is seriously strange and I can't wait to find out what the files contain, and I wonder if he has any files on the other characters.
.
All in all, an episode that is proving the series is getting better by the minute and something I look forward to seeing renewed for a second season, though with the ratings being quite bad, I have little to no hope of that happening.

"90210" 2.03 Review

I LOVE Season 2, and we're only up to Episode 3! I have to tell you, I really am clueless how the rest of the season will go as it's just so random now with the show, but what I do know is that I love, love, love the show, very deeply. Who knew I would feel this way about it?
.
First off, Annie and Naomi go head to head again, and let me tell you, it never gets dull, not one bit. What I love about the Annie v Naomi in this episode, was that the roles were reversed- Annie wasn't the victim anymore, Naomi was, and by God did Naomi deserve it. Though Annie did go a little too far, I couldn't help but actually LOVE what Annie said to Naomi, and I am so pleased to hear Naomi finds out who Liam really slept with in the next episode, so I am waiting anxiously to see her beg for forgiveness.
.
Silver was making progress in this episode, and I was screaming with joy when she found out Naomi actually sent the sext of Annie, and I was hoping they wouldn't be friends anymore, but damn, by the end they were pals again. And wow, Adriana really pulled through and proves why she is a grower. She had temptation dangling in her face and she didn't fall for the bait, Navid is lucky to have someone like her.
.
Ugh, Dixon! I am really displeased with him, he always thinks everything is someone else's fault but his, and Silver really needs to get over him because she deserves so much better. I hope that woman Dixon is going out with will find out Dixon's real age, and hopefully she will slap him very hard.
.
Again, another wonderful episode, Season 2 is on a roll!

"Heroes" 4.01 and 4.02 Review

I was beginning to lose interest in Heroes. Not because Season 3 was bad, because it wasn't bad, I enjoyed it fairly enough, but I don't know, I was just seeming uninterested, but with the return of the show, I actually got my Heroes spark back.
.
I love the introduction of these new people with abilities, as I have no idea what to make of them, are they good or bad? I think they're bad, but they're interesting and fresh. My main highlight, of course, is Claire. If the show didn't have her, then the show would be very dull. Hiro was also great in this episode, and I am very sad to hear he is dying, I hope he beats the inevitable.
.
Best thing about the first episode? NO MOHINDER! Best thing about the second episode? NO MOHINDER! Also, I had to put 4x01 and 4x02 together because I couldn't get any photos from 4x01, so I thought I would review them together. Episode 1 was alright for me, but Episode 2 was a lot better. I disliked the college idea before the new season premiered, but now I think it was a great idea. Poor Anne, I was so intrigued by her death, I really thought she was murdered, but turns out she just fell, so that's that out the way, but Gretchen saw Claire act out her death to find out the truth and lived. Excited to see them two develop, though I know exactly where it's leading - a ratings stunt!
.
I actually liked Peter in both episodes also, I used to hate him with a passion, thinking he was better than everyone, but I thought he was average. Sylar is also getting boring, I wish he would just die already. The whole Sylar/Nathan thing is going to blow up in Angela's face with fatal consequences. I also LOVED Tracy in the episode, I thought she was going to be a villain, but turns out she just needs a helping hand to get her life back on track.
.
All in all, I think this season may just be the best season yet. Here's to hoping.

"One Tree Hill" 7.02 Review

Now this episode was much better than the premiere, and I mean by like 95%. It may not have done better in ratings, but it sure did better for me to put more belief into the show, hoping it will carry on. I still miss Peyton like crazy, but Peyton was mentioned (and even seen) a lot in this episode, so it was if she never left.
.
Brooke was much better this episode, and showed hints of the old Brooke for which I love. Her rants were quite funny to see, and I can see Brooke becoming a much better character in the near future. I think the show is relying more on comedy now though more than drama, as it is hardly dramatic anymore, but the comedy isn't necessarily a bad thing, and they even produced one of the best lines of the whole series- Haley: "Who's the bitch now, bitch".
.
I don't really care for Nathan, and I wouldn't mind if they wrote him out, but I guess because James Laffery doesn't have any career outside One Tree Hill, then he's sticking with the show. Him having to tell Haley about getting someone else pregnant, or at least what we're led to believe, finally showed some drama to the show. Rachel Gatina! She came back, and how pleased am I, they needed her to save this season I think, as she gave us some great moments, and great surprises- Dan's wife?! Can't wait to see how Nathan, Haley and Brooke react to that!
.
Skills was alright in the episode, I usually don't like him, but he was admittedly funny this episode. Millicent was also one of the stars of the show this episode, couldn't help but love her loads. Julian was also okay this episode, he was a bit too moody though- brighten up!
.
So far, it's turning out to be a promising season, though I crave a Peyton return.

"The Vampire Diaries" 1.02 Review

Best New Show This Year? Well I need to see "Eastwick" first since I am obsessed with that show before it's even started, but anywho, this show so far is the best new show this year, definetly. And episode 2 is my favourite episode so far.
.
Yet again we have mystery and intrigue, and the characters are getting more depth, and the character I am watching out for is Bonnie. She is shaping to be a fine character indeed, and her psychic abilities are going to get her involved in some scary business with the Vampires and other creepy creatures that lurk in the night. Elena needs to be fleshed out a bit more also, but I do like her character, but the one thing I hated about the episode is the Elena and Stefan kiss- it was way too early. You would think they would build their romance and make it more adorable to watch, but we got it in the second episode of the whole series.
.
Vicki is also shaping up nicely with her Damon attack. I actually really like Damon's villainess, and has some funny lines too, but I do hope he shows at least a bit of sympathy to someone soon. And the ending? Shocked me! I thought it was way too early to even contemplate Caroline dying because of Damon biting her. I hope she isn't dead! One of the best episodes of the week, so I love it just fine, I wonder how future episodes can top it.

"Supernatural" 5.02 Review

I definetly loved this episode a lot more than the premiere, though both episodes were perfect in my opinion (though Episode 1 could have done with much improvement). Again, with Supernatural, it steps up its game every episode that passes, or so far, so I hope this continues.
.
I am glad Castiel wasn't in the episode much, he is beginning to grate on me with his "holier than thou" routine and "look at my higher status" attitude. He has a face I just wanna slap and is turning into Eli James 2.0 if he doesn't learn how to smile at least once. I was looking forward to seeing Jo and Elle in this episode, as I liked both, and missed them also. The storyline was captivating, with Sam and Dean having to go to a derelict town where people seem to be going demented and turning against each other. Turns out one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse is making people think who they are looking at are demons. Great!
.
The ending shocked me quite a bit, as small as it was, I was actually astonished that the brothers are going their separate ways. Even though they have been at each other's throats for a while now, it's still quite hard to imagine a brotherly bond like theirs has stretched to the point where it's snapped. I do hope they are reunited, mainly for the fact that I hear Dean will be teaming up with Castiel in Episode 3, and that would mean more Castiel :( The joy! I am really not looking forward to that.
.
Negative! Why the hell do the creative team not think of something good for a change? I mean really, the War Horseman of the Apocolypse looks like EVERYTHING else in the show - human! Demons look like humans, Angels look like humans, and now the Horseman of the Apocolypse? I mean really! Has their budget been cut to the point that the show doesn't have any supernatural look to it at all? Are they going to just stick bad guys in clothes and throw them on set? Change this please, and fast.

"Melrose Place" 1.02 Review

Loved, loved, loved it. I know I seem to like anything these days, but Melrose is a new series I am really getting my teeth stuck in to. I might have to watch the original series too, when I have the time.
.
For my favourite character? Currently I am torn between Riley and Ella, both are great and different to each other. The episode furthered the characters and fleshed them out a bit more, which is what I always like to see. I love knowing more about the characters because then I will be able to feel emotions for them whenever they are happy, sad, angry etc. So is this a show I will buy on DVD? You bet'cha!
.
Episode 2 is a step up from the first episode. It felt more relaxed and chilled and I love watching relaxing shows. I loved the Ella storyline, trying to get a client for the firm she works out to ensure she keeps her job, and the struggle to get one was quite funny to watch. I still have to remember names of all the characters so I probably won't talk about all of them. Last episode I thought Auggie murdered Sydney (?) but now I am not so sure, he seems to be more likeable this episode. Violet is also developing too, into both a sexy character to a dark and wierd character. The episode showed 2 sides of Violet, and my opinion of her is unclear at the moment.
.
Melrose Place can balance comedy and drama perfectly, so its a show I will remain faithful to until its end.

"90210" 2.02 Review

What I love most about 90210 is that it is simply brilliant for a teen drama. It has drama alright, and enough flair that could carry on for a few more seasons. I'll jump right in.
.
I always thought people could never be manipulated, as there have never been good examples, but this 90210 episode proved me wrong, and with amazing results. When Jen manipulated a doubtful Naomi to send the sext of Annie around school, I was sitting calling Jen all the names under the sun, and it was the best ever manipulation I've ever seen. When Annie begged Naomi to not send the text, it was in that moment of desperation I realize Annie is broken and will never be fixed. There will always be broken shards inside Annie, she has been through so much.
.
This episode showed us the old Silver, someone who sticks up for her friends no matter what. When Silver walked up to Annie at the end when everyone got the sext, it just made me realize how much I love Silver, what a truly amazing character. And Adriana too, I hope she finds out it was Naomi who sent it around, then Adriana will form alliance with Annie and Silver and then Naomi will be forced to go on her hands and knees and beg for forgiveness.
.
A great episode, perfect, this season is shaping up to be better than season 1 already.

"One Tree Hill" 7.01 Review

Watching One Tree Hill without Peyton and Lucas made me realize- the show will not make it past Season 7. Besides P and L not being in the episode, or the rest of the series, the show has got quite boring, and both Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray got out just in time to save themselves the effort, there was no point in making a 7th season. There is little to no drama, and it's become way too dream-oriented.
.
There are only so many times I can watch an episode without throwing something at the screen because someone is singing. This episode it was Haley, and though I love Haley, I am sick to death of hearing singing in every single episode from Season 5 onwards. And you could totally tell she was lip-synching.
.
Brooke was always always my favourite character ever since Season 1, but with Julian, she is so... boring. She's lost that spark she had a few seasons ago and now she has just fizzled into a dull character. The best character in the episode? Millicent! And she was only in it for a total of about 2 minutes! James Lafferty's acting is getting wooden, and the whole basketball thing is just getting right on my nerves, I genuinely think the writers are struggling with writing for the show- please don't make a Season 8 unless P and L come back!
.
Not the worst episode in the whole series, and it was an okay episode, and it did have its moments, but on a whole I don't think it could survive past this season, and I expect the ratings to drop fast. Could have been worse, could have been better, nonetheless, I will still watch the rest of the season to see what it has to offer.

"The Vampire Diaries" 1.01- Pilot Review

Now this is a show I know I will love this season. From the very first episode, I knew the CW had another classic hit series. With an amazing 4.84 million viewers tuning in for the premiere, I was genuinely pleased I watched it as soon as I could. The very first scene was filled with horror, and something Supernatural has been lacking lately. It immediately drew me in, and it's one of my favourite Pilot episodes of every show I watch.
.
The character of Elena is someone I can identify with, she is amazingly acted and easily likeable. Her friend, Bonnie, is also a great character, someone I am intrigued about, especially that freaky moment in the Pilot when she grabbed the bottle and had that vision thing and it kind of freaked me out- I LOVED IT! And finally, a male character I like. It's rare for me to really like male characters, and besides Dean Winchester, I really like Stefan, he seems very protective of Elena.
.
Damon is a strange character, but very exciting to watch him develop. He seems to be a great villain and he will definetly generate more scary scenes in upcoming episodes, and it's strange because even though Ian Somerhalder played Boone in Lost, he kind of looks really different when playing Damon, and sounds quite different too, he definetly makes the character his own, bravo!
.
A series I will be watching every week til its finale, I recommend new fans to watch for sure, it's completely breath-taking.

"Supernatural" 5.01- Sympathy for the Devil Review

Supernatural ended last season with a great cliffhanger- Lucifer Rising! They had an amazing concept and I was soo excited for Season 5. Even though I loved, loved, loved the episode, "Sympathy for the Devil" was a little disappointing. I wasn't very disappointed, and I still gave the episode a 10, there was just a few things I realized while watching.
.
The show is called Supernatural? There isn't anything supernatural about it anymore. We've had the Angels storyline for a year now, and it's getting old and boring. There is nothing creative about Supernatural, as every single Angel looks like a human, and now the Devil does- where is the creativity in that? Demons and Angels look exactly the same, and the only difference is Demons sometimes get black eyes- wow! The show isn't scary anymore either, it's relying too heavily on Dean's sarcasm as comedy for the show to still be successful- I want the scares back.
.
The episode was great, no doubt about it, and I got a surprise when Bobby attacked Dean, so I was glad that happened. I did feel a little sorry for Sam since he was the one who made Lillith die and opened Hell, but it was by accident, so I can't really blame him too much.

"Melrose Place" (2009) 1.01- Pilot Review

While Melrose Place may never ever be my favourite show, I can safely say I did enjoy the pilot episode. The mystery is intriguing and some of the characters are likeable, though I keep forgetting their names, it takes me a while to remember names in various television shows, so I'll mainly talk about the show in general.
.
I've never seen the original Melrose Place, though after watching the pilot of this show, it does make me want to watch the original series. It will take me a while to watch it though as I am swamped with other television shows to watch, new and old, and even lots of shows to catch up on, such as the CSI series and Beverly Hills, 90210.
.
Riley, so far, is my favourite character, though Ella is definetly a strong character who I take a liking too. I don't know why but with every show I always like the female characters more than the male characters, I guess the writers just make the females more likeable for some reason.
.
The story was good, and I am really excited about the mystery, and I know I will be drawin in for the rest of the series as I love 'Whodunit' types of thing so this will be a series worth watching for me. Unfortunatly, the series only premiered with 2.30 million viewers, so I hope viewership picks up as the episodes go along.

"90210" 2.01- To New Beginnings Review

After watching the finale of Season 1 for "90210", I was left hooked. I really didn't expect that 90210 would fall into my good graces, but left with the cliffhanger of who Annie ran over made me want to watch the Season 2 premiere episode, and even the Annie v Naomi storyline is something I looked forward to for the coming season. I have a feeling Season 2 will be the best season yet, and the premiere episode for the second season proved exactly why I thought that.
.
Though Annie is hardly in the episode as much as Naomi or Silver or Adriana, I found her character getting a sudden change from a happy-go-lucky girl to a dark and guarded lonely girl who can't seem to trust anyone, and I loved watching that contrast. Even though Naomi is a huge bitch, she is definetly one of the best bitches I've ever seen and I can't imagine the show without her, she is an anchor for it, and makes the show a lot more interesting.
.
Silver was quite funny in the episode also, especially with Naomi's and Silver's first meeting of the new guy, Teddy, who I don't really like to begin with. Silver and Dixon's relationship is on the rocks thanks to him telling Dixon about Silver and Ethan, but then again, I don't like Dixon, so Silver could do a lot better anyway. Then we have Adriana, who wasn't as much of a main as the others last season, but she rose to prominense in this episode as she interacted more with more of the cast, and she is truly a beautiful rose. Navid is okay, I don't really have much of an opinion about him, all he seems to want is sex, and it's kind of getting boring for him.
.
Naomi was probably the best in this episode, she was definetly featured a lot more than the others, and the ending with her finding that naked video of Annie on some boy's phone will make a great next episode, I just hope Naomi finds out that Annie did not sleep with Liam before she goes too far.
.
Overall, amazing return episode, gets a perfect 10 from me. It definetly deserved higher ratings than it got, which it got only 2.56 million viewers, americans, tune in!!

My Top Shows for 2008-2009

When I watch an episode of a television series, I rate the episode out of 10. When I have seen every episode from the season, I add all the ratings up to give me a total. Then I divide that total by how many episodes the season had. That gives me an average for the season. I watched 12 shows in the 2008-2009 season, so I did a Top 12 for the season, and to my surprise, my two favourite shows didn't do that well this season (Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer). Here is my Top 12:
.
#1. Grey's Anatomy (Season 5) - 9.66
#2. Lost (Season 5) - 9.64
#3- Harper's Island - 9.46
#4- Brothers & Sisters (Season 3) - 9.37
#5- Private Practice (Season 2) - 9.36

#6- Dollhouse (Season 1) - 9.30
#7- 90210 (Season 1) - 9.29
#8- Desperate Housewives (Season 5) - 9.12
#9- Heroes (Season 3) - 9.08
#10- Supernatural (Season 4) - 9.04
#11- One Tree Hill (Season 6) - 9.00
#12- Ghost Whisperer (Season 4) - 8.65
.
I'm gonna hope my two favourite shows do much better next season, although I don't have much hope for Desperate Housewives to get better with Edie gone, and some spoilers I have read of the upcoming season doesn't give much promise. Ghost Whisperer, however, sounds like it will be a great season so far from the episode summaries I have read.
.

"Heroes" Season Three Review

Heroes is a show I came to begin watching mid-last year. I didn't exactly fall in love with it or anything, it's just a show I like. Season One was very good, I enjoyed most storylines and there were some stand-out episodes, such as "Homecoming" and "How to Stop an Exploding Man". My favourite character was Claire, and even Nikki. I couldn't stand Mohinder, actually I still can't stand Mohinder, he is so useless and boring, they even tried to make him interesting in Season 3, but it didn't work, it just made him look desperate.
.
Sylar is a great villain, but I'm getting a bit bored of him now, I mean there are only a number of times you can defeat a villain once, but Sylar is like a bad boomerang, and I'm ready to throw that far, far away and hope it never comes back. Season 3 was a great season, possibly my favourite Heroes season so far. It was split into two volumes, "Villains" and "Fugitives".
.
I enjoyed the Villains volume more than Fugitives, but they were both entertaining nonetheless. I was glad to see Elle come back after a few episodes absense, and I loved the "Dying of the Light" episode, with the man who can control people as if they were puppets. The best part of the Volume was probably when Elle became closer to Sylar, only to get killed by him, bless her, I liked her. The finale of the volume was intense and very dramatic and action-packed.
.
I did enjoy Fugitives, I loved the plot how Nathan was capturing people with powers, including some of the Heroes, and taking them to a place against their will. The season was nicely set-up, and another favourite character of mine died, Daphne, it was a beautifully written and acted episode for sure, one of my all-time favourite Heroes episodes.
.

"90210" Season One Review

I had never seen the original Beverly Hills 90210 series, and so I thought I wouldn't enjoy the series. Turns out that you don't need to see the original series to love this spin-off show from it. All I knew from the original series was that Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh in original and spin-off series) was in it, and I love Shannen ever since I had seen Charmed where she played eldest sister witch Prudence Halliwell. It took a while before I got to watching this series, but nonetheless, I finally watched it.
.
The series may not be the best, but it has its own uniqueness, and deserves better ratings than it had been getting. I am still unsure on a favourite character, as all characters have their own quality, and the series got better as it got going. Jennie Garth was also in the original series as Kelly Taylor, and reprises her role in this series, becoming a more prominent character than Brenda Walsh, who I adore.
.
One of my favourite episodes is Off the Rails, beforehand Silver was getting out of hand and uncontrollable with her love for Dixon, and going a bit loop-de-loo, but Silver was so great. It was very dramatic and quite a turn for the series, which had seen parties and fun being more prominent before. The finale was also amazing, again one of the best finales of 2009, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for Annie when Naomi's sister planted her wrap in Naomi's room, and Naomi's sister slept with Naomi's boyfriend, Liam, leaving Annie's wrap in the room so Naomi immediately suspected Annie to have slept with Liam, and doesn't know that it wasn't her and it was in fact her own sister. Naomi confronts Annie in front of everyone in the party (Annie had been accused for selling out someone else's party at the Prom, and people turned on her for it, even though she didn't) and poor Annie had abuse shouted at her from people at the party as well as Naomi, and even some horrible boy throws water or punch in Annie's face which was completely out of order. Poor Annie broke down.
.
I can't wait to see Season 2, to see how Annie develops from a fun, loving young girl to a turned bullied student who will have nothing short of abuse coming her way from every student at school, it's so horrible to Annie, yet so compelling for the viewer.

"Private Practice" Season Two DVD

After watching Season 2 of Private Practice, I will definetly be getting this DVD boxset. The artwork was released a few months ago by TVShowsOnDVD.com, and I love the cover, it definetly fits the style that the first season DVD had. The DVD will be released on September 15, 2009 for the US, but the UK may have to wait until March 2010 for this DVD, since we had to wait that long for Season 1.
.
I can't wait to see how this looks in person as I hope it matches Season 1 with it being shiny and embossed, so I'm waiting for the UK release so it matches with my Region 2 Season 1 DVD. If you haven't seen the series yet, then you should definetly get Season 1 (it's only 9 episodes long, so not much to watch) and catch up with the series in time for Season 3's debut in September.
.

"Dollhouse" Season One Review

Well I wasn't originally going to watch this series after reading some negative reviews and someone on MSN told me it wasn't worth watching, so I didn't watch it. But after a few months, just last week, I began to watch the series, mainly because I was bored and I had just finished watching Heroes Season 3 after catching up on that. I put on the first episode of the show after researching what it was about on Wikipedia and stuff, and I did enjoy and liked the pilot episode. It wasn't the best, but it had promise. And as I read from some reviews, that the series gets better as it goes along, that from episode 6 onwards is the best of the season, so I believed it, and remained watching the other episodes.
.
I definetly enjoyed the episodes that followed, episode 2, 3, 4 and 5 were all good, and I couldn't wait to watch episodes 6 onwards since they have been so positively viewed from other fans and critics. I found the series intriguing and compelling, it definetly caught my eye and it became one of my favourite seasons in the 2008-2009 season. Eliza Dushku is one of my favourite actresses, and she does an amazing job in the series as the main character Echo (formerly Caroline). The other characters are very likeable also, Sierra, Victor, Mellie, Topher, Dr. Claire Saunders, and even Adelle is likeable, even though she is a strict, bossy woman who runs the L.A. Dollhouse (there are more than one, scattered throughout the world).
.
I love the missions they go on (one of my personal favourites is when Sierra disguises herself as a chinese woman who works at a place where the identity of the Spy in the Dollhouse would be revealed, I found that scene fun when she had to go and make her way through the building). But the finale of season one became a favourite episode for me.
.
The finale was so amazing, the plot was fantastic, and the action in the episode is suspenseful and is definetly one of the best finales of 2009. What I loved most was when Alpha tried to destroy Echo's original memories as Caroline, but Echo has been implanted with her past mission alter-egos and made to be like Alpha, the villain. However, Echo pulls off some really cool fighting moves and saves her original memories. It had a very good cliffhanger, and I can't wait for Season 2 to begin.
.
Season 2 will begin on September 25, 2009 with 13 new episodes, starting with the first under the working title of "Vows". The DVD is already out in America, and the UK will enjoy the series when it comes to DVD on September 7, 2009.

"Private Practice" Season Two Review

Private Practice is a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, one of my favourite shows, and I didn't immediately watch the series, as I only watched Season One for the first time two months ago as I got the DVD for my birthday, in the UK, it only came out in March 2009, which is really bad. However, I really enjoyed Season 1 and I was glad I asked for it for my birthday. So I had some major catching up to do, as I didn't watch Season 2 immediately, and I finished watching season two earlier this week.
.
Season 2 had just begun on LIVING and I thought I would watch it and decide whether to just watch it once a week on the channel, or catch up on the internet, so I chose the latter, and I was very glad. Season 2 is by any means better than the first season, there are new problems each week, and the episodes are very captivating and watchable, so I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out like next year for us in the UK.
.
One of the things I hated this season was Dell. I really don't like him, he was okay in the first season, but he really did my head in this season. He just involves himself with everything where his nose doesn't belong, and becomes way too personal with other people's problems and acts like a right huffy woman most of the season, and that really annoyed me.
.
But the best episode? I would say the finale, it was very shocking, and ended on a cliffhanger, like nearly every show in the 2008-2009 season. I think my favourite character this season was Violet, she was amazing, very relaxed and a great character while pregnant, and the ending? Well I won't spoil it but it puts Violet's and the baby's lives in jeapordy. Recomended? If you're a Grey's fan and a fan of Addison Montgomery (which I am) then definetly watch this series.

Find Yourself with "Lost" Season 5 DVD

The fifth season of ABC's LOST will hit stores in America on December 8, 2009. I pre-ordered this DVD quite a while ago now, I absolutely adore the season, it is my favourite season so far of Lost, and to have it in my collection will be amazing, but since I got it from Amazon.com, and I live in the UK, it may take up to 2-4 weeks to arrive to me, so it could be just before or just after Christmas when I get it.
.
I am quite sad that this is the penultimate season, and that Season 6 will be the last, especially since I'm basically a new fan. But I have high hopes for Season 6 (I hope Shannon will come back, and I am so glad Claire has been confirmed to be a regular), and I know that I will not be disappointed.

"Harper's Island" - The DVD Edition

Once the series ended, I knew that I would want the DVD when it is released. And very soon on TVShowsOnDVD, the artwork was released. I love the cover, I'm just not a big fan of "The DVD Edition" like they could have used a better kind of edition, like "The Blood Red Edition" or something, I'm not the best at making them names up.
.
The DVD will be released on September 8, 2009 in the United States, and a release date has yet to be announced anywhere else, so the UK or other countries could be waiting a considerable amount of time to own the 13-episode series.

"Lost" Season Five Review

Best Season Yet. I am seriously in love with this series now. The finale was just the best finale yet, and I absolutely adored the whole series, and in my opinion, the best series in the 2008-2009 season, I have really grown to love Lost profoundly.
.
I wish I watched the series sooner, and I passed judgment on it before I even seen an episode and I shouldn't have. But now that I have seen it all so far, I am very glad I changed my opinion and decided to watch the series. It was quite a confusing season with the whole time-travelling fiascos, but I definetly enjoyed it. And poor Charlotte, when she died I felt sorry fo her, as I do when everyone on the show dies.
.
I loved how all the pieces started to connect, like the Dharma Initiative was explored more and Faraday's mother, which was quite a shocking surprise when she killed him in the past and never knew who he was. When I was losing interest with Lost from last season, this season sure picked up the series and took it to a whole new level of amazement, and I can't repeat myself enough when I say I love it.
.
Now the finale. The finale was fantastic. The huge build up was intense, and the whole episode shone from the whole season. It was the finale that made Season 5 the best for me. Now I am a huge Juliet fan, and I love her to bits, and when the chains wrapped around her and dragged her down the huge hole, I was devastated, I thought she was dead, and I was in tears. Then in the last minute, it shows that she isn't dead, and the bomb that they threw down there before hadn't exploded. So Juliet detonates the bomb, leaving the series on a huge cliffhanger, and Season 6 cannot come fast enough, I definetly need my Lost fix.

Harper's Island 1x13- Sigh

Harper's Island is amazing. I cannot believe how amazing it was. I am so thankful that I actually watched the show because I loved it loads. It was one of the best shows of the 2008-2009 season. And this is a finale that doesn't disappoint.
.
What I love most about Harper's Island are the characters, how each had their own story, their own unique characteristics, and they manage to act extremely well. Tear-jerking finale? Definetly, when you remember all the people who have died, you can't help but realize that they didn't make it to the end. That is always sad in horror movies, and it is also an issue with this, it's just so emotional.
.
The whole series finale was fantastic. I loved the chases, the revelations, the survivors and the deceased. I was so looking forward to this and I was so thrilled that by the end of it I was not at all disappointed. I felt so sorry for Sully, he was ganged on by Wakefield and Henry and he had no way to escape, the whole island massacre was designed so no one would survive apart from Henry and Wakefield (who is double-crossed by Henry) and Abbey, and Jimmy.
.
Being in a situation like that would be heart-stopping, it really would be a scary atmosphere. Henry is obsessed with Abbey ever since they were kids and Henry would visit Abbey at home in Harper's Island. It makes me feel so sorry for Trish too, who loved Henry but was used all this time just so he could be with Abbey. Pretty demented, huh? Yup!
.
The very end, when the video of the wedding guests saying congratulations to Henry and Trish for marrying, was very sad because people who had died prior to the finale were in the video, well only some, but I was extremely glad that Cal and Chloe were in the video, because they were my favourite couple, and it was very emotional, and Trish was in it too, and then the very end with Henry, it makes you realize how crazy he really was, but it kind of makes me feel a little sorry for him too. They all seemed so happy.
.
So if you haven't watched the series yet, I think you would regret not seeing it, because it truly was a fantastic series overall, and I will definetly be rewatching on DVD when it comes out.

Harper's Island 1x12- Gasp

You cannot believe how excited I was for the final 2 episodes of Harper's Island, I even stayed up all night and morning to download the last 2 episodes, and I finally got to watch them at about 3am, and my excitement was enough to keep me awake. When it started, I got butterflies and goosebumps.
.
Spoilers ahead. I knew something would happen to Trish this episode, and since my favourite character was killed off in episode 11, my second favourite, Trish, had to step up for the role, and she did amazing. I didn't want her to die, and I felt so so sorry for her- her fiance, who she loved so deeply, turns out to be the second killer (which I guessed since the 5th episode that he would be a killer), and she is so hurt by it, that he used her so his dad, Wakefield (the main killer) could get his revenge on Abby.
.
Her death scene is my second favourite in the whole series, but it is my favourite in this episode. Poor Danny too, died to save Shea and Madison from a similar fate from Wakefield. It was a very smart and enjoyable episode, and I thorougly enjoyed it. When Trish died, I did what I did when I saw Chloe die, I got tears in my eyes.
.
Now Abby is my favourite, and she is the main character, so I've always assumed she would survive to the end, which I turned out to be right, but even though I predicted it, it didn't crush the excitement and shocks I still got from the last few episodes, I'm just so sad that its ending and no more episodes will be produced, but I am looking very forward to the DVD release.

"Lost" Season Four Review

Well I finished the season like ages ago but I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to be able to review it. I am very glad I got into Lost finally, and I'm loving the series, but I have to be brutally honest when I say this wasn't my favourite season at all, and is probably my least favourite. I still loved the season, but it didn't feel as much "Lost" as I thought it should have, quite a weak beginning of the season, however it did get stronger as it went along.
.
I wasn't a fan of the new characters introduced- Charlotte, Faraday and Miles, I found them a little strange, and I didn't take well with them. But as I said, it gets better, and I did grow to like Charlotte and Miles, but I still wasn't a fan of Faraday. One of the best episodes of the season I think would be "The Shape of Things to Come", with (spoilers ahead) the death of Alex, Danielle's estranged daughter, who I really liked and I thought she was really good and I didn't want it to happen, and I really liked Danielle as well, I was so used to her being there, and then it happened in the episode before.
.
Lost never fail to deliver amazing finales, and I adored the season four finale as I did with the first three. I wish I had of reviewed sooner because my memory is so bad that I've forgot like half of the season already, and I also thought that Sun's performance when Jin seemed to have been killed on the Freighter explosion was so powerful and amazing that it was award-worthy, acting this season (and every season) has been so fantastic.

I am so sorry I haven't been posting any updates, I have just been so busy creating a Wikia for Ghost Whisperer, I never realized how much hard work goes into them, it's taking up nearly all my time to make it look good and create all the pages from scratch etc.

"Ghost Whisperer" Season 4 DVD Artwork

Finally, they released the Season 4 DVD cover!!! And I'm actually a little disappointed.
.
After the huge long wait for it, finally being released a month and a half after the season ended, even though DVD artworks for other shows were released as early as January, and I was so looking forward to seeing it, and in my honest opinion, its the worst cover out of all 4! It does sound pretty strong, and I do love the cover, but its the weakest of all four.
.
Don't get me wrong, I love Jim, but did they have to put him on the cover? I know lots of fans will disagree, but I so loved Melinda being the sole person on the cover, and they kind of ruined that tradition. I know Jim played an important role in the season, and probably put him on the cover because he died, but did they put Andrea on the cover of Season 1? Or at least use a better picture of Jim, I mean really, was that the best they could find?
.
Season Three's cover was very creative, they obviously took their time with it and the background was gorgeous, as was the picture of Melinda. She is gorgeous on the front of Season 4 though, a great picture to use, but I don't like how they stepped down from last season. And the tagline? The way it is put on, quite big and red, it really looks out of place, and Love Never Dies? Couldn't they have used the prominent tagline from season 4 instead of a Season 2 episode name? "Love Transcends Death" would have been better and relevant to the season.
.
I still love it of course, I just hope they don't release it in the UK like seven months after the US release like Season 3, it so isn't fair.

"Lost" Season Three Review

So I am still watching Lost all the way through, and I finished Season 3 a few days ago actually, right now I am onto Season 5, so before I get to reviewing that, I need to review Season 3. Now before I watched the series, I already knew what would be the fate of Charlie Pace, and Mr. Eko, so I wasn't at all surprised, I was actually quite happy that Charlie was going to die, but when it actually happened, I felt so sorry for him, I wanted to take it back.
.
One of the best things this season was the introduction of Juliet, an Other whose story gets revealed as the season goes on. I really like Juliet, and I loved when she asked Jack to kill Ben by using the video as a sneaky method of communication and so I am glad that she has been made a regular. Ben, hmm, at first I didn't like him, I wanted rid of him a long time ago, but that wasn't meant to be, and I was quite glad. He makes a great villain, he is very manipulative in getting everyone around him to do what he wants done, so that kind of cunning and evil makes quite the antagonist.
.
I loved a lot of the stories about the Others, however I thought the season was a little stretched and it kind of got dull a bit. I did love when Jack and Juliet returned to the camp, yet no one trusted Juliet at all. And I also loved the whole Desmond seeing into the future thing, that was great, and when he told Charlie that no matter what he did, Charlie was going to die. It really set up the season nicely.
.
One of the other best things was seeing Shannon come back for an episode, in the Nikki and Paulo centric episode half-way through the season. I was glad they included her. And also how Nikki and Paulo died was very wierd but intriguing and I wonder if the survivors will ever find out how they really died.
.
The finale was once again, amazing. The Looking Glass station was quite an eerie setting, and the series of events that happens there are very captivating, and I love Penny, so I was glad to see her on the computer screen. But then poor Charlie drowned, which was very sad since he did it to save Desmond from the same fate. Overall, the season wasn't the best, nor was it the worst, and I am definetly looking forward to finishing the series and finding out all the answers I want to know.

Harper's Island 1x11- Splash

One of the best television episodes ever. I really mean it, it was so emotional, it actually had me tearing up. I could not believe my eyes when one of the most tragic things ever happened on the show. It's really making Harper's Island a favourite, and this episode really deserves to be there. Honestly, I have never been so sad before, and I thought Prue Halliwell's funeral from Charmed was emotional, if I watch the last few scenes of this episode again I will actually cry.
.
To tell you the truth, I have never cried in like 2 years, I just literally can't get myself to cry, I would love to cry and let it all out, but my body just won't let me lol wierd. But this episode is making me cry, and I urge people to watch the series, because it is shining.
.
Don't read ahead if you don't want to be spoiled. Unfortunatly, I spoilt the episode for myself before I watched it, I just had to go on Wikipedia and look at the death chart to see that my favourite character and the love of her life both die in this episode. Chloe + Cal are the best television couple ever, next to Melinda and Jim. There is nothing more sad than watching your soon-to-be husband get killed.
.
The one scene I will focus on is their death scene, because that single scene turned Harper's Island into one of the best shows in my opinion. The music was tear-worthy when this all happened, like I am listening to it now and it just makes me tear up. The last few minutes of the episode have Shea finding out there is a second killer, who seems to be Jimmy, who is currently with Trish in a car and he looks at her with an evil look, attempting to steal her gun as she sleeps, but she wakes up, the future isn't looking good for her.
.
Chloe was kidnapped by Wakefield, the killer, and locked in a drain, and Cal, Abby and Henry go looking for her in the woods, as Wakefield makes an appearance and Abby and Henry attempt to distract him as Cal goes to look for Chloe. He finally finds her and lets her out, and asks her to be his wife, in which she replies "yes" and they share a brief intimate moment, which is ruined by Wakefield himself. Cal and Chloe run down the bridge, which has been blocked in the middle, and Cal tells Chloe to climb around, and she gets halfway until Wakefield makes his way to him, and Cal tells Chloe that he loves her. It is just so sad, and so emotional, the most emotional in television history.
.
Cal tries to protect himself from Wakefield, but unfortunatly Chloe has to watch as Wakefield drives a boarding knife into Cal's chest, and he looks at her, hoping she would get fully around and escape Wakefield before being thrown over the side. The music hear is so sad, its "Letters From the Sky" by Civil Twilight, honestly, it just sets the scene up beautifully.
.
Then, Chloe screams and cries as she sees her lover falling into the water. She sees him floating, and looks at Wakefield for a few seconds of silence, before she says "You Can't Have Me". And Oh My God, she lets go, and lets herself fall into the river, which the bridge was very high up, and she lands in the river, floating at the top right next to her deceased fiance.
.
Really, I will not get over this for years, they so should have done something like this for Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives, now that would have been a much better send-off for her. But Chloe is just amazing, I am so so sad she is gone from the show now, I will really miss her.

"Harper's Island" Episodes 5-10 Review

Harper's Island is an amazing series I have just decided. I can't believe the ratings it has been getting lately, because it really does deserve more than just 3 millions for the past few episodes, but that is probably down to it being aired on Global first and then on CBS, so the ratings would suffer.
.
Episode 5 was an amazing episode, and don't read ahead if you don't want to be spoiled. I loved the whole of it really, from when Trish and Thomas get stranded in the woods and then that scary man with a dog just showed up out of nowhere and set the dog on them, I was like "uh-oh, who the hell does he think he is?", but noneless it was great entertainment. I was shocked by the end, I didn't think Thomas would die so early, I would have thought that he would have lived a lot longer, maybe until episode 9 or 10, but not as early as 5. But oh well, it was a very dramatic scene, and it definetly began the whole awareness for the rest of them.
.
Episode 6 was just as good, and very emotional, because the actors and actresses do amazing jobs at crying and creating drama, and even comedy. Mourning Thomas was one of the saddest things on the show yet, bless him. The scene with Cal and Chloe in the bar when that man had found Cal's ring and proposed to his wife with it and Cal tells Chloe, and Chloe comes up with a sly plan to get it back, and it worked, she is amazing, I loved that scene, she was so funny, definetly what the show needed.
.
Episode 7 wasn't as good as the last 2, but it still packed a punch with everyone getting ready to go off the island, but then that Madison had to get kidnapped and so people couldn't go and that meant more people would die. I felt sorry for Malcolm, bless him, he was desperate for money and he needed it.
.
Episode 8 was okay too, it wasn't the best, but it definetly had a lot of good scenes with the flashbacks and the identity of the killer is twisted and even more mystery than ever. I do enjoy the episodes whether not much happens, but I watched it a while ago now so I've basically forgot what happened really, but I do remember J.D. dies, and I was quite glad, he was kind of getting on my nerves.
.
Episode 9 really picked up when they're looking for Madison while trapped in the hotel, and there was even more great acting, especially from Gina Holden's Shea. Beth goes missing and the rest try to look for her, while others try to get off the island, but decide not to because if they do then Madison will be killed. I'm glad Cal and Chloe are like the perfect couple, they are amazing. They find Beth, bless her, she is dead, and then at the very end, Shane finds Katherine freshly dead in the conservatory, just as Madison is saved and reveals that Abby's dad, the sheriff, is the one who kidnapped her.
.
Episode 10 was just amazing. Everyone thinks the sheriff is the killer, and that Abby might be Wakefield's daughter. I really love all these revelations, but there is a plot twist coming up. Later in the episode, Maggie, who I didn't really like, thinks she will be safe after the survivors take refuge in the town's local bar, and then she goes wandering off thinking the killer won't go after her, is she dense? Of course, she dies. And then the boat explosion which Jimmy was on, but for some reason, Wakefield brought Jimmy alive and nearly unharmed to them. That really made me suspect Jimmy though. At the end, Abby goes to see her father at the hotel, who reveals that Wakefield is not her dad, and that Wakefield is still alive, and is the killer. Unfortunatly, Abby sees her dad get killed and runs outside to see him hanging, just like her mother years before. And the cliffhanger is when Wakefield comes up behind Abby, and says "You look just like your mother."
.
Scary series but it is an amazing series, I have really grown to love it and I am so glad I decided to get into the show, I so recommend watching it.

Leyton's Last Season in "One Tree Hill" Season 6 DVD

One Tree Hill is a CW television show, and is currently signed on for a seventh season. Unfortunatly, Peyton won't be in Season 7. Neither will Lucas, but I don't mind about him, I'm not a Lucas fan, I love Peyton more, even though Brooke is my favourite character. Will Season 7 be good? Who knows until it airs. But, the season six finale would have made a perfect series finale, so if the show has ended in many Lucas and Peyton fan's eyes, then you don't want to miss their last season, and you could always pretend it was the last ever season.
.
I've heard a lot of comments about One Tree Hill season 6 being a little boring, but when I caught up with it after watching it without them constant breaks that they seem to like on television, I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. The premiere was compelling, and the whole season followed suite. So I will definetly be buying the DVD once it is available on Region 2, which will be October 5, 2009, and Region 1 people will be able to purchase it on August 25, 2009.
.
Not the best season, but definetly not the worst. Many online shops are taking pre-orders, including Amazon.com for the US, and for the UK, Amazon.co.uk as well as HMV are taking pre-orders. I don't think I will pre-order it, but I will probably buy it when I see it in the shop. Enjoy the rear artwork for the DVD below.

"Brothers & Sisters" Season Three Review

Well Brothers & Sisters isn't my favourite show, or in the top 5 I don't think. Mainly because Season 1 and 2 weren't as good as other shows. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy the show, but it never had the oomph that would make it so special in my eyes. However, after catching up with Season 3, it has proved me wrong.
.
The pilot episode was quite dull, and it didn't draw me in, unlike other shows. But the season got better and better, and the seasons even got better. Season 2 was great, I loved it, I loved the twists and storylines of the season. Too bad that Writers Strike shortened it down.
.
Like Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill, I had to catch up with the latest season through the internet because I hadn't watched Season 3 from its premiere. But it gradually got so interesting and entertaining that I began to love the series even more. Season 3 was one of the best of the 2008-2009 seasons out of all my favourite shows, even most episodes were better than "Desperate Housewives", which is my favourite show, so it just shows that it can be just as amazing as the top shows in my eyes.
.
The middle and end of the season was what made the season the best. I loved the family arguments in public places as well as privately, their family bond makes the series watchable and entertaining. I was sad to see Julia go, but Tommy left her no choice I suppose, I think I'll miss Julia more than Tommy. Sarah is my favourite, she was really funny this season, and seeing her land on her feet after all she's been through is really admireable.
.
I recommend giving Brothers & Sisters a chance. I know a few people who turned the series off after the pilot episode, but honestly, the show has gotten so much better since then, and I'm sure I speak for most B&S fans that Season 3 was amazing, and worth buying on DVD.

"Harper's Island" Episodes 1-4 Review

Well I only started watching the series yesterday after a few hints to watch it. The first hint was when I bought the newest Supernatural Magazine from the newsagents that morning, and inside I read about Jim Beaver being in a show called Harper's Island. The second hint came when I was looking through IMDb and read on Katie Cassidy's profile that she was starring in a show called Harper's Island. Then the third hint came when I saw one of my friends on YouTube favourited the Harper's Island trailer. After viewing the trailer I thought it looked good. Then the last hint was when I went on TVShowsOnDVD.com and saw an update for the Harper's Island DVD release. So I decided to watch it finally.
.
And when I finished watching the first episode, I really enjoyed it. I love horror movies, and the show is like a horror movie cut down into 40-minute long episodes. I was thrilled I finally watched it, and the deaths are thrilling, not knowing who will live or die, its like watching a horror movie for the first time, except this is better since I have to wait a whole week to find out who is the next victim, or victims.
.
So far I'm loving the characters and I really wanna know who the killer is, so I'm just gonna have to wait and find out. I have Episodes 5-9 to watch, which I will do later today (02:03am at the moment) and then review them. The first four episodes have been gripping with secrets and deaths, I can't wait to watch it all.

Good News Everyone!

It's been confirmed- 26 brand new episodes of Futurama!
.
But not on FOX, but instead Comedy Central, to begin airing in 2010. The series was cancelled back in 2003, and has since been on reruns and DVD releases that has resurrected the series. Matt Groening will be returning to the series, commenting: "We’re thrilled Futurama is coming back. We now have only 25,766 episodes to make before we catch up with Bender and Fry in the year 3000".
.
Family Guy was also cancelled a while ago and resurrected because of DVD sales, and since the series has done extremely well, even beating the ratings of The Simpsons on occasions. Let's hope Futurama's return will be a new beginning for the series.

Grey's Anatomy 5.24- Now Or Never

Best Season Finale Ever.
.
I was literally stunned at how amazing this episode was. I didn't follow season five on time because I had yet to see season four, being in the UK it really is messed up, the DVD isn't even out yet. So I bought the Region 1 versions and watched Season 4, so I could finally watch Season 5. Season 4 was great, I thorougly enjoyed it.
.
Grey's Anatomy is slowly creeping up to be my favourite show because Season 5 was incredible. Honestly, from the very first episode to the shocking finale, I seriously consider Grey's Anatomy to be the best show of 2008-2009 out of all shows I have seen so far. One part I particularly enjoyed was when they had to do the Kidney domino procedure. When Meredith dropped the kidney, I was stunned. It was such a simple thing but it shocked me.
.
What I loved most about the season is the question whether Izzie lives or dies. I feel so sorry for her, she lived through a lot this year. And I was so pleased with the finale, it was the best season finale yet. One thing that shocked me was George. I did not expect John Doe to be him. When Meredith realized was when I realized and my mouth fell to the floor.
.
Then Izzie! She got passed the surgery, got short term memory loss, then she remembers everything, and then she just goes unconscious! Now I don't know whether George dies or Izzie lives, or if Izzie dies and George lives, or if they both live, or if they both die. I am so looking forward to the season six premiere now, which will be on Thursday September 24, 2009.
.
Altogether an excellent season finale, with the best cliffhanger of 2009 finales!
