So I am still watching Lost all the way through, and I finished Season 3 a few days ago actually, right now I am onto Season 5, so before I get to reviewing that, I need to review Season 3. Now before I watched the series, I already knew what would be the fate of Charlie Pace, and Mr. Eko, so I wasn't at all surprised, I was actually quite happy that Charlie was going to die, but when it actually happened, I felt so sorry for him, I wanted to take it back..One of the best things this season was the introduction of Juliet, an Other whose story gets revealed as the season goes on. I really like Juliet, and I loved when she asked Jack to kill Ben by using the video as a sneaky method of communication and so I am glad that she has been made a regular. Ben, hmm, at first I didn't like him, I wanted rid of him a long time ago, but that wasn't meant to be, and I was quite glad. He makes a great villain, he is very manipulative in getting everyone around him to do what he wants done, so that kind of cunning and evil makes quite the antagonist..I loved a lot of the stories about the Others, however I thought the season was a little stretched and it kind of got dull a bit. I did love when Jack and Juliet returned to the camp, yet no one trusted Juliet at all. And I also loved the whole Desmond seeing into the future thing, that was great, and when he told Charlie that no matter what he did, Charlie was going to die. It really set up the season nicely..One of the other best things was seeing Shannon come back for an episode, in the Nikki and Paulo centric episode half-way through the season. I was glad they included her. And also how Nikki and Paulo died was very wierd but intriguing and I wonder if the survivors will ever find out how they really died..The finale was once again, amazing. The Looking Glass station was quite an eerie setting, and the series of events that happens there are very captivating, and I love Penny, so I was glad to see her on the computer screen. But then poor Charlie drowned, which was very sad since he did it to save Desmond from the same fate. Overall, the season wasn't the best, nor was it the worst, and I am definetly looking forward to finishing the series and finding out all the answers I want to know.
I am currently watching Lost for the first time all the way through and I bought the DVDs of Seasons 1-4 a while ago and watched Season 1. Season 1 was great, the pilot was compelling and that was amazing to watch. But I have just finished watching Season 2, and while it is fresh in my head, I wanna write what I think down.Season 1 ended really nicely with the Hatch and everything, and I'm loving all the storylines. The first thing I want to comment on is, if you haven't seen season 2 and you're planning to then I don't want to spoil it for you, is Shannon's death. I thought it was really clever to connect Shannon with the Tail Section Survivors (TSS) since their paths were inevitably going to cross. When Ana Lucia shot Shannon, I really did hate her for doing that as I did like Shannon, she wasn't my favourite but I liked seeing her there because she had such a strong character. So seeing Shannon die in Sayid's arms was quite painful to watch. One of the few things I didn't like this season was Charlie. I've never really liked him to be honest, I just think he is too clingy and he gets on my nerves when he tries to be funny and just isn't. And then Michael, I haven't liked him either, I though his constant "Walt!" shouting was so annoying I felt sorry for Walt. I was happy when he left, and then he came back. And it was really shocking because he killed (don't read ahead if you don't want to be spoiled) Ana Lucia. And then Libby walked in who I really liked and was about to go on her date with Hurley and Michael shot her twice! I was fuming at him, I was just beginning to like Ana Lucia as well. One episode that I thought was really good was Episode 21- "?". I just thought it was insanely clever the way they incorporated the aeroplane that Boone died in with the map seen in the Hatch and actually be part of the question mark seen in the map, and that is how Locke and Mr. Eko found a trapdoor leading to a secret room. I thought the writer's did an amazing job with the season. And the finale was up to standard with season one's finale. I was so glad that Hurley, Jack, Kate and Sawyer find out that Michael is actually the one who killed Ana Lucia and Libby, I really wanted to hit Michael myself for leading them to the Others, he really grinded on me. But I thought it was an amazing story for an amazing season. I am currently watching Season 3 now, hopefully it will be just as good.
